New Cincinnati Playground Offers Plenty of Activities for Kids

Sharing is caring!

This post is brought to you by Let’s Play, an initiative by Dr Pepper Snapple Group that provides kids and families with the tools, places and inspiration to make active play a daily priority by building and improving playgrounds and donating sports equipment to groups in need. All opinions are my own.

There really is nothing cooler than going back to the playground you saw being built and actually getting to see it ready for play with kids all over it and enjoying it. This entire ambassador program with Let’s Play has been an incredible experience. The kids and I have worked together on fun outdoor play activities and I was able to see a community come together to build this incredible playground. It’s been such a fun experience!

So, we headed down to Cincinnati and just loved seeing other kids exploring! The kids had a BLAST climbing, going down the sweet fireman’s pole, sliding and just running around.

You absolutely have to go check out the playground, located at 1503 Chase Ave. in Cincinnati if you are local or just passing through. Remember that hundreds of volunteers came together to build the entire thing. It really makes the space special and reminds you that it truly does take a village.

A couple things I noticed that were new were the tables, benches and the swing set! Parents with babies will love the parent/child combo swing (that of course we didn’t get to try and forgot to get a picture of – but you need to go see it!). Everything came together nicely and makes for a fun and interactive space for kids of all ages to get active, get outside and have fun.

Be sure to visit LetsPlay.com for play ideas for all ages and for all seasons! I know it’s getting colder and we’ll be moving inside more and more so I’m hoping to come up with some fun ways (hello, obstacle course!) to keep the kids moving when it’s just too cold to be out. These Ohio winters can either be mild or brutal!

It's open! The new #playground in #cincinnati was built by volunteers and is now open for play! #letsplay #ad #kids
