Have I mentioned how much I love having a daughter? She has brought so much joy into my life, and not to mention, look at the fun toys and crafts we can do!
Little Charmers is an adorable show airing on Nick Jr that takes place in Charmville and follows three “Charmers-in-Training” who have magical powers. The most important message is that the Little Charmers have to work together – and that’s a great lesson for my little girl!
I thought it would be really to take our new friends, Hazel and Seven, and let them watch us make a craft project together! It’s important for Haley to learn to work together, and a girl always has to get her craft on!
We found a ton of great “dollar spot” goodies, like this wooden crafting picture frame, stick-on rhinestones, glitter, buttons, ribbon. I think all of these will be great additions to our crafting supplies because now that I know Haley loves to make and create, we are going to have so much fun!
I was inspired by The Little Charmers and their friendship, so we decided to make a best friends picture frame!
After you’ve gathered your supplies, you are going to want to paint your wooden frame. We went with this bright pink color and luckily, it dried quickly! One coat did the trick. After it had dried, I let Haley take over and she decided where to place the rhinestones. I love that these don’t require glue and are just peel and stick! A great thing for little hands.
She was super proud of her new picture frame. We even took a picture of Hazel and Seven and printed it off so we could put it into our frame right away!
You know why I love this project? Not only did we work together (I painted, she decorated), it really gave her the freedom to create something on her own and express herself.
If you and your little one haven’t seen The Little Charmers, be sure to check them out on Nick Jr! Little Charmers are the perfect holiday gift! Visit the Little Charmers website to make this holiday season magical!
