I’m not sure how we accumulated so many empty toilet paper rolls, but for some reason, I just started hanging on to them. The Girl Scout troop leader in me must have kicked in and I realized we could use them someday, in some way. I’m pretty happy I started saving them, because now with three kids in school and all three collecting Box Tops for Education, we needed something to hold them other than flimsy sandwich baggies. Time to break out the craft supplies, get creative, and make collecting Box Tops a bit more fun!

Box Tops for Education is so much more than just the little pieces you cut off the packaging, there’s now a Box Tops Bonus app that lets you earn by scanning your receipt for the specific products that have offers attached to them, and bam, earning even more for your school!
These Upcycled toilet paper roll organizers can be personalized just about any way you can imagine. I used washi tape for each child to make it “them”, and kept it pretty simple. I wanted a way to just split the Box Tops amongst the three, and with these, they can help clip and put the Box Tops into their own holder without mom or dad helping!

This kid was super excited about his favorite cereal and to get to collect a Box Tops for his organizer! We took all the others we’ve been collecting and divided them up amongst the three to keep it fair!
I’m not sure these need much instruction, but you take washi tape and completely cover the toilet paper roll. Add glitter, gemstones, whatever you want if you want to jazz it up more. I folded in the bottoms, added some ribbon, and in maybe 15 minutes (hey, the washi tape was giving me trouble!), I had three cute little organizers!
