Shopping Is Even Easier With The DG GO! app

Sharing is caring!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Dollar General for IZEA Worldwide. All opinions are 100% mine.

I can’t really count the number of times that I’ve run into a Dollar General because I’ve forgotten something, or I know that I can avoid distractions and get in and out quickly. Something that’s new and really changing the game is that Dollar General has an app but not just any app – an app that allows you to keep track of your cart total and even (if available in your store), check out right in the app.

I’m not joking. Like always, I had a growing list of things I needed to pick up so when Dollar General wanted me to visit and try the app first-hand, I was 100% down.

The DG GO! App is easy to install and start using. First make sure that you have a store near you that lets you use the app to scan products as you shop, see your running total and even pay directly in the app with the stores payment method.

It’s pretty easy to do once you start. Grab a cart or a basket and get to shopping. Just scan the barcode for each item! Be sure that you’ve also checked for any coupons as those will instantly be applied to your purchase – and yes, Dollar General accepts coupons!

The DG GO! App is a great time-saver and lets you stay within your budget with that running total feature. I really love this because most of the time, I’m shopping for things like contact lens solution, toothpaste, toilet paper and trying to keep my cost down. When the kids are with me, I can grab a small basket and as we get our snacks, I can scan each one right into the app, the kids can help bag and I can pay and we cut our time in the store significantly!

Shopping should be fun, and standing at the checkout is NOT fun. Download the app and start using it!

The DG GO! mobile app is available in the Google Play Store and App Store
