A dream come true, seriously! I have dreamed of going to NYC all my life. Fueled by movies and television shows, that desire to be in the city surrounded by buildings and people just grew and grew.
When I found out that TJ Maxx/Marshalls were sending me there for an event, I thought I was going to die. I CRIED. No, I BAWLED. Excitement, nervousness, panic, fear, more excitement, it all came over me. I would be going when I was 20 weeks pregnant, by myself. It was scary – I never imagined myself going alone.
I find myself get teary eyed now looking at pictures from my trip. It was so much fun, and so worth all of the nerves and trying to organize and plan for Ian to be home with the boys. THANK YOU for letting me go.
I can’t wait to go back! I still have those dreams to go and have busy days, and take a cab all over. I never made it to Central Park, and I want to spend the day there and just soak it all in. I wish it were something we could do every weekend – if we lived there our weekends would be so packed with family outings!
