Thanksgiving falls into the category of “stressful holidays” for just about anyone who is hosting and planning to prepare delicious food and desserts for a crowd. When it was my turn to start making dinner, I don’t I truly understood just what goes into planning and preparing a full Thanksgiving meal and the first attempt was definitely stressful. I didn’t have enough forks, or serving dishes, and I swear if you are lucky enough to have two ovens then you have it made! Holiday stress can really bring us down and with our crazy schedules, it’s hard to find time to do everything but now I have a new secret weapon and I am not afraid to share it with the world.

Bob Evans Restaurants. That’s it, that’s the secret. I’ve done the from-scratch dishes, from frozen, in the crock pot, but this is by far the easiest and most delicious way to cut the stress and have more time for friends and family.
I want to show you how easy it is to order an entire Thanksgiving feast from Bob Evans Restaurants and either pick it up OR have it delivered right to your door (select locations). Ya’ll! They will DELIVER YOUR FOOD to your door and all you have to do is heat everything through and serve. It is life changing. Finally, Thanksgiving made simple with Farmhouse Feast!

The Premium Farmhouse Feast is $124.99 (yes, that’s correct) and serves 8-10 people, so order accordingly. Build your Farmhouse Feast with dishes like:
Slow-roasted turkey
Hickory-smoked ham
Sweet buttered corn
Bread and celery dressing
Mashed potatoes with gravy
Macaroni and cheese
Green beans with ham
Cranberry relish
Rolls
Pumpkin Bread
Pumpkin Pie
Double-crust apple pie
and a small container of whipped topping

You also receive a sheet with your heating instructions, which makes it easy to go down the list and check off items as you go! Now that we’ve experienced this hassle-free option to Thanksgiving, I have some tips that will make it even better.
- Have enough kitchen hot pads or trivets! I was almost in a panic when I realized I needed maybe two or three more since the dishes get hot and I didn’t want to burn myself or the tablecloth. Pick up some fun festive ones or solid colors, but definitely stash the extras with your holiday items.
- Check your serving dishes! I’m still fairly new to cooking for large crowds, so I don’t have enough serving plates and bowls that work for meals like this. Go with throwaway aluminum pans if you don’t want to buy new dishes or don’t have a way to store them, no one will even care.
- If you have kids, let them eat what they want. It’s one day, and I didn’t make the kids take anything they knew they wouldn’t eat and at the end of our meal I was hearing things like, “This was the best Thanksgiving ever!”. That’s right, mom didn’t spend hours in the kitchen and we had a Thanksgiving that was just US.
- Have helpers for the clean-up and dishes! You will have some dishes to do since everything requires heating before serving, so make sure the sink and dishwasher are ready to load. Having them empty made rinsing, loading, and a quick hand-wash so much easier!

Ready to cut the stress? Ready to just ENJOY Thanksgiving for a change and not be stuck in the kitchen? Go to your local Bob Evans Restaurant to order in person, or Order your Farmhouse Feast online. Remember, select locations only offer delivery! Depending on what methods you use for heating your food, you’ll want to make sure you allow at least 2 hours to fully prepare so keep that in mind when selecting your pick-up time. In full transparency, our food was inside the kitchen just after 1pm and we were eating by 4pm! BOOM!
Ordering your family meal from Bob Evans can work at ANY holiday, so keep this idea in mind for any large gathering, or even special birthday celebrations!

Your Farmhouse Feast box just might be one of the most exciting things to come into your home this year! Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!
