Have A Snack with Kellogg’s

Sharing is caring!

With three busy kids between the ages of 1.5 and 9, snacks are a scheduled part of our day. No, literally – our 8 year old has “snack time” at the same time, every day at school! Keeping their “fuel” fun, healthy, and “just their size” is sometimes tricky. Between being picky, each wanting something different, or just being too busy to stop and enjoy, snack time can be a bit scary (for mom!). When Kellogg’s asked me to help them with their Team Kellogg’s campaign and share some great tips with you, I knew I could help out! Look below for a fun (and easy to make!) DIY snack holder that you can use to make snack time fun!

To give you an idea of the kind of snacks we enjoy, I’ve made a little guide based on the ages in our household.

Snacks for Kids Ages 1-3
Crackers (cheese, graham, saltine, plenty to choose from!)
Cheese (try sticks or cubes, maybe even small cookie cutters for fun shapes!)
Diced fruit
Homemade trail mix (pretzel sticks, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies, raisins, dried cranberries, and maybe a few chocolate chips)
Carrot sticks
Crackers w/ peanut butter
Yogurt (try a reusable squeeze pouch for a snack they can feed themselves)
Applesauce

Snacks for Kids 6-9
Crackers and pepperoni “sandwiches”
Homemade granola
A bowl of Kellogg’s cereal!
Tuna and crackers
Beef jerky
Applesauce
Yogurt with a sprinkle of granola
Vegetables and dip
Celery with peanut butter and raisins (ants on a log)
Diced chicken and cheese cubes

Make your own snack holder!
