I’m sure by now you’ve noticed the change, and the hype around the change.
For a LONG time, I have contemplated changing my blog’s name. It’s kept me up at night, I consulted friends and fellow bloggers, and finally I just had to go with it. This change has been needed for so long, and I’m so excited to ‘give birth’ to it finally!
Before, with Moments With Mandi, it gave the impression that I was a frugal, coupon, and deal blogger. But I wasn’t. Sure, that’s how it STARTED, but it quickly evolved. With that, I added the tagline, “and so much more!” but it still didn’t matter. I received email after email about stock exchanges, coupons, deals, financial press releases, and it was annoying. I hated to load my inbox because of those emails. They didn’t apply to what was going on in my life. I mean, sure, the RIGHT coupon or deal would be relevant, but I wanted to be more then a frugal blogger. I wanted to blog ME.
I hope that you will embrace this change, just like I am.
You’ll notice that the look is similar to the old, but freshened up. Like my new logo? I had a fantastic friend of mine (also a mom!), over at ONE23DESIGN, Tara, work that up for me. You might notice she also has done another logo for me, for my virtual assistant business. I recommend her to any blogger, to any business, to anyone trying to start up something and not sure what design direction they want to go with. Smart momma right there!
Now, as with anything, there are still some tweaks to be done. I have worked all weekend, for HOURS, to get things how I like. So you may see some things moved or changed a bit, but don’t worry. I’m going to limit the downtime of the site to late at night and try to keep things quick!
