I LOVE a good mug of hot cocoa. I mean, really, who doesn’t? Back in high school, I spent many afternoons at a local coffee shop, enjoying their big mugs of hot cocoa with whipped cream running down the sides. When that business closed, it was like a part of my history was gone. You see, that coffee shop is where the hubs and I went for many dates. I would have hot cocoa and a slice of cheesecake, and he would have a grasshopper and cheesecake. We would sit and talk about everything under the sun. That coffee shop was where we first talked about graduating high school and just up and moving to NYC together (which didn’t happen, by the way). Now that it’s closed, we tend to enjoy our hot cocoa elsewhere, or at home. Thanks to Starbucks® Hot Cocoa K-Cup® pods, we can have hot cocoa anytime!

I’m a fan. After this mug of Starbucks® Classic Hot Cocoa, I was instantly a fan of almost-instant hot cocoa!
My special mug (and now my new favorite) is to make Starbucks® Classic Hot Cocoa with 8oz of hot water using my Keurig, top it with a dallop of whipped cream and sprinkle on some Double Chocolate Cheeseball Mix (just the dry shaker part, which is chocolate chips and walnuts and sugar) from Steeped Tea. Using those Walkers shortbread cookies (which were new to me!) to scoop up the toppings was the best idea ever.
And those marshmallows? Madyson’s. OH. MY. GOD. The marshmallows melt right into the hot cocoa and are the most delicious and soft I’ve ever had! I need more in my life.
