These are always a crowd-pleaser but if you are looking for health, you probably need to move on. ;) These yummy and simple No-Bake Cookies take just a few minutes to whip up. You can add more oats and peanut butter if you’d like to thicken them up, or less if you’d like them runnier (which I would not recommend!).
Simple No-Bake Cookies
Yield:
0
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 4-6 Tbsp Cocoa
- 1 Stick of Butter
- 1/4 Cup Milk
- 1 Cup Peanut Butter, more if desired, or you can try half PB, half Nutella!
- 1 Tbsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 3-4 Cups Oa
Instructions
- Layout wax or parchment paper on your counter-top in preparation for the cookies.
- Melt sugar, cocoa, butter and milk and bring to a boil for a minute or two.
- Remove from heat and add in vanilla, peanut butter, and oats and stir well. Start with 3 cups of oats and add in any additional until desired thickness.
- Drop spoonfuls of mixture onto the wax paper and let cool and harden.
Honestly, I had to stick these in the fridge because it was bedtime and they weren’t completely cooled and set. I just stacked the sheets onto a cookie pan and stuck it on the bottom shelf and it turned out great. I do notice these start to fall apart more when at room temperature, so keep that in mind. I think the thicker the mix, the better they will stay together.
