Oh boy is it time for Halloween! Not only are we excited about an upcoming Halloween party at school, we are pumped for trick-or-treating and all of the goodies coming our way! The kids were so excited to get creative and hit Meijer for some scary and creepy ingredients to make monster pudding cups. I’ve included several ideas for you to spook your family with!
To get you started, you need Snack Pack Pudding Cups. You can pick from the many varities they offer, including classics like milk chocolate and vanilla. I went with those for most of our creations, just because the decorations needed a nice backdrop to be seen. Plus, each serving has the same calcium as an 8oz. glass of milk! If you are a Meijer mPerks member, you can grab a $1 off 4 Snack Packs until 10/31! Since these are usually on sale, this is an awesome deal!
Suggested creation station items:
Gummy worms, vampire fangs, bears, sharks
Orville Redenbacher popcorn (used to make a brain)
Crushed chocolate cookies (for dirt)
Colored decorating gels (red for blood)
Marshmallow circus peanuts (I used these to make fingers and also because I haven’t had them in years!)
See the bloody finger?! Simple a vanilla pudding cup with crushed chocolate cookies, the circus peanut and red decorating gel for blood. You do not have to be some crazy creative person to create these for your kids! In fact, set up a table with an assortment, some spoons, and let the KIDS create!
We had such a fun afternoon creating – and eating – the sugar rush was worth it!
So tell me, have you ever gotten creative with your Snack Pack pudding cups? If you need to pick up more, visit Meijer and look for the baking aisle! For more mix-in inspiration, check out Snack Pack on Pinterest!
