Cap Maison Luxury Resort and Spa Overview

Sharing is caring!

Cap Maison view from villa patio

Visiting Saint Lucia was a dream come true. A tropical vacation was high on my bucket list, and something I honestly never thought would happen. It’s easy to dream about drinking cocktails by the beach, but it’s another to actually get to do it.

Our vacation was split amongst two resorts, the first being Cap Maison Luxury Resort & Spa on the northern end of the island in the Cap Estate area near Castries. The resort is located on an ocean-front bluff with amazing views and a secluded beach with the most amazing restaurant (more on that in another post!). The entire resort was quiet, relaxing, and just a perfect experience of relaxation and peace.

At Cap Maison there are several different accommodations available. We stayed in an oceanview villa suite with pool. Yes, we had our OWN pool.

Cap Maison villa private pool view from patio outside bedroom

This is the view from the patio area outside of our bedroom. Our large patio with outdoor seating, the pool, the view – how gorgeous! We spent every evening enjoying the pool, the view, drinks and even room service desserts. I’m telling you, it was perfect. We even enjoyed breakfast here twice, which I wish we could do every day. Excuse me while I just move right in.

I was absolutely mind-blown when we entered the front door after our helicopter transfer and cab ride. I was overwhelmed with excitement, to say the least.

Cap Maison villa living area

This is the living/seating area between the kitchen and the patio/pool. This area of the villa was not air conditioned, so it was warm and humid, but honestly, you get used to it. I’m not sure if all villas are this way, though, but something to keep in mind. See that buffet table to the left? There’s a lizard behind there. At some point during our stay, a little lizard ran under it and well, we just left him alone. That’s another thing you get used to – the lizards. They aren’t big, but they are fast and we had several in our villa and you see them EVERYWHERE outside.

Cap Maison villa master bathroom with large tub and seperate toilet and shower

The bathroom was just incredible. That door straight ahead leads to the toilet and to the left is the shower with a door that leads to an outdoor shower. Double sinks and a large counter line the wall to the right with plenty of room for two to get ready each day. The shower was large as well, and don’t be surprised to see a lizard there as well!

Cap Maison villa bedroom

The bed. This bed was seriously comfortable with plenty of pillows and covers. The bedroom and bathroom are air-conditioned and I loved having the ceiling fan on for extra air movement. We did use the mosquito netting over the bed, but I don’t think I saw a single mosquito in our room during our stay. So, kind of ambiance thing for us. Every night the bed was turned down and ready for us to climb into. And yes, if you’re wondering, there is a TV with plenty of channels. We did watch a little bit of TV before bed. Hey, there were no interruptions!

Cap Maison pool

The resort also features this gorgeous pool (and there’s another pool, kind of hidden… try to find it when you go!) with gorgeous ocean views and right by The Cliff at Cap restaurant. Even though our villa was located right by this area, we were never bothered by noise. In fact, the only noise we heard was faint kitchen sounds and some loud partying from MILES away during a Carnival party at Pigeon Island! Although, the music was great so to sit back and watch the sunset with the soca music in the background was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at Cap Maison. I would go back in a heartbeat. It was everything that I wanted – quiet, delicious food, amazing drinks, a beach, sunset views. I can definitely see now why so many people visit Saint Lucia and why it’s so highly recommended for a luxury vacation!
