As A Virtual Assistant I Do What?!

Sharing is caring!

When I started as a virtual assistant, I set out to help other bloggers by promoting their giveaways and helping run their social media accounts. It was fun, and I only worked a couple hours a week (mostly when the kiddos were in bed) but it’s evolved GREATLY since then. I’m now learning things and being asked to learn about things I never knew about before.

Things like –

1) Business analytics – Okay, I’d heard of this one but it’s not a term I was throwing around loosely. For the longest time I didn’t consider by blog as a business, but now it definitely is.

2) Public relations/blogger outreach – I’m on the other side now. I send the pitches and I deal with with bloggers. Before it was me RECEIVING pitches and working with reps to bring my readers reviews and giveaways. It’s a whole new world on the other side!

3) Ad serving

4) Travel arrangements – I’ve arranged travel for myself and for family, and I know what we like as far as hotels and what we can afford. As a virtual assistant, I’m in charge of finding a hotel for someone else, sometimes without knowing their personal preferences (gym? indoor pool? free breakfast?). It’s kind of fun though!

5) A/B testing

I’m sure there’s a million more things, but I have no complaints. I have the best clients/bosses, and I love what I do. It is SO nice to work from home, on my own schedule. SO SO nice!
