Baby #3 is apparently about the size of an onion. These fruit/food comparison pictures are always neat. Yes, every baby develops differently, but they offer a tangible comparison. Just imagine going to the grocery, seeing an onion and picturing your baby about the same size. It’s neat.
This pregnancy… it feels different. The ‘morning sickness’ wasn’t as bad as the first two. I mean, it was THERE, but it was more of the nausea feeling then actual physical sickness. And right now I feel GOOD, well, other then the head cold, but that’s just going around.
Being almost 17 weeks, means we are getting closer to knowing if we’re having our third boy, or our first girl. I don’t really have a feeling one way or the other. Friends have all given their opinion, some are dead set that it’s a boy, and others are pulling for team pink (like we are, we want a girl). I’m not sharing when our ultrasound is, I don’t want a million Facebook messages and texts asking about it. We’ll announce it when we know :)
In other news, it has been crazy busy around here. Baby G is THISCLOSE to crawling, and he’s figured out that he can follow us, so he’s always trying to leave the living room. You can hear it when it hits the dining room, with the hard wood flooring, there’s a “whack, whack, whack…” as he slaps the floor and army crawls around. I can’t believe that at the end of November he will be 8 months old.
School is going great for B, he is doing so well and learning so much. His IEP was finalized and he’s getting therapy in school and outside. His speech is really coming along, and he is finally getting the hang of the /k/ sound (think “cough”, “key”, etc). Finally! I absolutely loved having his therapist come out with this good news at the end of their last session. I just love knowing that everything she’s done and that we’ve done is paying off!
I have one final thought…
How in the world do we go from one child to having a 6.5 year old, an almost 8 month old, and being almost 17 weeks pregnant?!
