Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights
Formerly known as Alum Creek Fantasy of Lights, Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights is one of the holiday light displays in Ohio you’ll really enjoy. The drive-through light show runs from November 16, 2018 to January 1, 2019 and is located at the Alum Creek State Park Campgrounds.
Woodland Lights
In Washington Township in Montgomery County, you’ll find Woodland Lights – The Path to Holiday Fun! Over a half mile wooded path is lit up with Christmas cheer, but that’s not all that you’ll find at Woodland Lights. Every night has lots to offer for the entire family, like amusement rides, carriage rides, bonfires, and Santa. You can even take a trip into Grinchworld and help the Grinch steal stockings and pack his sleigh! There are several other special events scheduled throughout the month-long event. The event is open from November 24 through December 30; check the website for times and details.
Light up Middletown
Every year in downtown Middletown, you’ll find 100 acres in Smith Park illuminated for the season. The themed displays you’ll enjoy include nautical sights, patriotic displays, and plenty of twinkling animals. Each year the Middletown, Ohio light display expands to include more and more exhibits. You can visit the display 6-10 PM Every night, from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve, whatever the weather.
Holiday Lights on the Hill
This year marks the 18th season for this 2-mile long holiday light display through Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum. Some of the displays included are a nativity scene and a grove of pine trees. Existing “Age of Stone” and “Garden of Sculpture” exhibits are also illuminated with hundreds of thousands of animated lights. The lights will be on display from November 16, 2018 – January 1, 2019.
Christmas Ranch
Christmas Ranch in Morrow, Ohio boasts approximately one million LED lights synchronized to holiday music. This holiday light display is so spectacular that it has received national attention. The Ranch isn’t just a light display, though – it’s an entire 110-acre Christmas village. In the village, you’ll find train and wagon rides, Christmas shops, and a spot to take pictures with Santa! The exhibits are both indoors and outdoors, so if you get too chilly, there are plenty of places to warm up! You’ll also find lots of Christmas-themed goodies to enjoy as you stroll through the lights! Proceeds from the event benefit The Shriners Hospital for Children, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and The Neediest Kids Of All. The event runs from November 16 to December 23, 2018.
