Working at home means I can carve out time to make a great dinner, or I can throw something into the crock pot and call it done. This recipe is just that – an easy go to crock pot chicken recipe paired with garlicky mashed potatoes and some veggies and it’s perfect!
This chicken came out flavorful and moist! I would use any leftovers on salad or slice (it falls apart, so more like shredded) on a whole wheat wrap with some spinach for an easy lunch!

Crock Pot Buttery Herb Chicken
Ingredients
- Chicken breasts, I used 4, frozen
- Lemon juice, a splash or two
- Herbes de Provence, about 2 tablespoons
- Parsely, 1 teaspoon
- Cilantro, 2 teaspoons
- Garlic powder, a sprinkle
- Worchestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons
- 2 tablespoons butter
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Turn on your crock pot and add the chicken breasts.
- Throw in all of the ingredients, put the butter on top of each breast, pop the lid on, and let cook on low for 6ish hours and high for 4ish.
- I occasionally checked mine and flipped the chicken over or spooned the juice over the chicken.
