I. Can’t. Wait. As best I can remember, this was one of the first movies I saw in theaters. It was one that I watched the VHS tape of over and over, at least a million times. Two million if you count the times I’ve watched it since becoming an adult. Belle and her love of books, the songs, Chip, I can’t get enough of them!
I even saw Beauty and the Beast on Ice when I was about 4 or 5 months pregnant with Brenden! Front row, on the ice. I could FEEL it, that’s how close we were. And yes, I totally cried. Not just because of pregnancy hormones, but because I love this story and these characters so much.
So, like the rest of the world, when that final trailer dropped (video below!), I immediately watched it. I cried. I got goosebumps and I felt the excitement and my eyes getting bigger. I freaking can’t wait.
You’ll also hear the first listen to Ariana Grande and John Legend’s duet of the iconic song Beauty and the Beast. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical but now that I’ve heard it, there’s no doubt that those two can sing, so hopefully the full length version of the song is just as good as what you hear in the trailer!
Will you be seeing Beauty and the Beast in theaters? I’m planning to be there. Maybe not front row so I don’t break my neck trying to watch, but I will be there!
