Spring is supposed to be here in all her glory – bright sun, green grass, flowers starting to push through the cold ground, warmer breezes. But here in Ohio, it’s not even close. In fact, it’s snowing and there are inches of snow on the ground and stuck to the side of the house because of the bitterly cold wind. I’m over it, and I’m ready to think spring and to hit the sidewalks and nature trails! The dogs are ready too, they want to lay in the warm sun and not freeze their paws off in snow! I feel kind of trapped, so to help us get in that feel good spring mood, we took a trip to Tractor Supply Co.
That sounds kind of weird, but there’s nothing better than seeing the store alive with folks wanting to get their gardens going, to get their chicken coop supplies, to replace broken tools, and to just get inspired. Did you know they have seasonal home decor? They do and right now, it’s chicken themed. You’re welcome.
Anyway, I like shopping at Tractor Supply Co. because it’s way less busy than other places and you won’t find many people just walking around aimlessly – everyone has a purpose and they know what they want and where it is. I also like it because you’ll often see someone bring in their dog (on a leash)!
Let’s not forget that the beginning of spring at Tractor Supply Co. also means baby chicks and ducks!

He’s going to be 11 this year, and he’s a big guy, so a slower paced and shorter walk will be a much better option for him. We may want to research our favorite nature trails for flat options vs. those with lots of hills.
