Buttery Herb Crock Pot Chicken

crock pot buttery herb chicken

Working at home means I can carve out time to make a great dinner, or I can throw something into the crock pot and call it done. This recipe is just that – an easy go to crock pot chicken recipe paired with garlicky mashed potatoes and some veggies and it’s perfect!

This chicken came out flavorful and moist! I would use any leftovers on salad or slice (it falls apart, so more like shredded) on a whole wheat wrap with some spinach for an easy lunch!

Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts, I used 4, frozen
  • Lemon juice, a splash or two
  • Herbes de Provence, about 2 tablespoons
  • Parsely, 1 teaspoon
  • Cilantro, 2 teaspoons
  • Garlic powder, a sprinkle
  • Worchestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Turn on your crock pot and add the chicken breasts.
  2. Throw in all of the ingredients, put the butter on top of each breast, pop the lid on, and let cook on low for 6ish hours and high for 4ish.
  3. I occasionally checked mine and flipped the chicken over or spooned the juice over the chicken.
