It was hot, it was sunny, but boy was it a ton of fun! The Krylon 127 Yard Sale was held August 6 through August 9 all along a 690 mile stretch through Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan. We went to Cincinnati to visit with Krylon and a group of other bloggers to learn more about their new paints and to see A&E’s Amy Devers in action.
If you haven’t seen me sharing information about it, the first ever Pinterest Yard Sale is still going on! 127 items from the yard sale were brought back to life and are available for YOU to buy! You HAVE to go check out some of the fun items, they all look amazing!
After we finished up, we hit the road and headed north on 127 to see what we could find. We went through dozens of little towns and neighborhoods for the first time and saw all kinds of sales. Even shop owners had set up tables and displays outside on sidewalks to take part in the action. You definitely had to pay attention to the car in front of you – at any time someone would slow way way down and all of a sudden pull to the side because they’d spotted something they wanted to check out! It was a great ride through the country to get home.
My favorite little find were these…
Look at that skeleton key! These would be a cute DIY project – grab some old keys or find some at a yard sale and attach a jump ring and chain.. hmm.. *wink* I guess we’ll see what happens now that I’m in love with these!
I brought home two cans of Krylon: SUPERMAXX® in Watermelon and Glitter Blast™ in Diamond Dust. I couldn’t resist the glitter – I have a daughter who is very girly, we will find MANY ways to use this!
I partnered with Krylon to bring you this information and was compensated for my time. All opinions are my own!
