It’s A…

Sharing is caring!

Boy!

Last Monday we had an ultrasound because of some over-the-weekend spotting/bleeding, and got to see every inch of our new little one. Our tech is amazing and got us some beautiful pictures, one of which being a gender shot! I think everyone was anxious, wondering if we would add a girl to the mix, and I have to admit that I was a little saddened when the tech told us. I had my hopes set on a girl, and had already been picking out (but not buying) crib bedding, and eyeing all the pink dresses and things. I think it took the rest of the day for me to realize that boy or girl doesn’t matter, what matters is that we have a healthy little person joining our family in March!

Big Brother is excited, I just think it will really set in when we actually bring home baby, maybe even when we start setting up the crib, swing, etc that belongs to the baby. Moms who have been in this situation – is there a certain time that older children finally understand and get it?
