DIY Orange Creamsicle Bubble Bath

I am going to let you know right off the bat that this isn’t a thick, spa like bubble bath. In order to achieve those kind of bubbles you need to use sulfates, since this is a homemade recipe intended for kids to make and use I am going to avoid them. They were originally used as an industrial strength cleaning additive. When I found out I wasn’t too crazy about having that in my kids bath products. This bath does create light, deliciously sweet smelling, moisturing, and frothy bubbles. The trade off is totally worth knowing the ingredients are safer on their skin. This pantry (and under the sink) recipe is perfect to make with your little girl, makes a great spa birthday party favor or a gift.

Orange Creamsicle Bubble Bath

Ingredients:
½ cup castille soap – Dr.Bronners orange citrus
¼ cup distilled water
¼ cup glycerin
1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. Orange extract
1 Tbsp. Vanilla extract

Directions:
Combine all ingredients, whisk well to mix all thoroughly.
Pour mixture into an airtight container – preferbly plastic –  I found this fun pump bottle for about $2 at Hobby Lobby- It is great for use in the tub and makes a pretty presentation as a gift.
Let sit overnight before using.
Pour under running water.
If you have hard water it may not bubble up at all.
Your bubble bath should last up to 2 months.
